The Old Man of Storr sits dramatically on a hillside in Scotland, and was formed by a massive landslide long ago that left behind the jagged pillars of basalt. Legend has it that the rocks are remnants of a giant that was buried beneath the ground where they remain, so there seemed no better way to honor the giant than by drawing a miniature piece.
Graphite pencil on cotton paper with torn, rustic edges. Unframed.
Dimensions are 4.75x3.25 inches.
